Aftermath ....

Fast forward 6 months since the events depicted in the last post. Mommy San and Daddy Gunny are now slowly adjusting to Baby Jerral’s tiny but overwhelming presence in their lives. All the sense of apprehension, panic and impending doom has gradually died away during the initial gynae scans. Quite amazing really, how all those maternal/parternal feelings start gushing out from nowhere everytime you see the tiny blinking dot representing the baby’s heartbeat, making you go all teary-eyed, weak-kneed and cooing “awwww… so cute….!” Really incredible.

These gynae scans are now eagerly awaited every month, as each gynae appointment not only represents yet another milestone reached in Baby Jerral’s journey to life but also a priceless opportunity to see and feel Baby’s Jerral’s growth and development.

Of course many other works are also ongoing in the background as preparations for Baby Jerral’s arrival begins to gather pace. Gynae appointments, confinement arrangments, pre-natal classes, baby shopping, baby accommodations etc …..

Now, preparations are by and large, almost complete. And Mommy San and Daddy Gunny looks forward to the next gynae scan and start counting down the weeks to Baby Jerral’s arrival.
