Mommy is getting pretty worry about not being able to find a good nursery/ kindergarten and even a college for Lil' Jerral.
ALL of the schools that she has visited or called told her that the waiting list is AT LEAST A Year and with no guarantee (got to be put on waiting list and depending on your luck), worst.. some of the schools told her that Lil' Jerral will be placed on a waiting list of about 3 YEARS and she will be contacted in about 2 years time if there should be a place for the Lil' One by then.. HELLO???! Jerral might have move on to prep school!!! faint!
Oh.. and prep school.. Jerral needs to be in prep school when he is about 5 years old (they called it college here, and you start out from Prep, move on to Grade 1 and all the way to Grade 12 before you get into a local University). One of the teachers in the childcare (that she has visited today) told her that the registration for a good college starts even before the infant turns ONE. She thought she got it wrongly and didn't believe it at first.. but the teacher told her to make a visit to the school anyway. So Mommy (not convince at first) made a visit to one the local college here and the school told her that the enrollment for YR 2012 is FULL!! and again.. yes, Lil' Jerral has to be place on the waiting and how many on waiting list???! Twice the number of the admitted students!!
Gosh! It's only 2008 and the parents here really think real FAAAAR for their kids.
So.. to all those people who labeled Singapore's parents as 'KS'!! The world's out there and even bigger than you know! ;p
