Knowing that Daddy has been real hard at work, Mommy decided to whip up some nice dishes for Daddy.
For dinner this evening, the family had...
(with inspiration from Daddy's favorite Stephen Chow's movie, 食神)
Mommy whipped up a dish from the movie called '黯然銷魂飯'.
A pretty simple dish, home-made char siew by Mommy (boiled in just sugar, light n dark soya sauce, & water), some stir-fried vege in garlic & oyster sauce and a sunny side up.
Daddy gave thumbs up for the Char Siew and he simply loves it! Slurps slurps!

While few days ago, Mommy baked some chicken pies for dinner.. Yummy!
A real BIG Pie and 2 'palm size' mini pies... well.. the Big Pie was really too big for both Daddy and Mommy, and both of them actually took a couple of days before they could finished it.. Haha..
Greedy Mommy.. Next time, Mommy would made several 'small palm size' pies instead of the really big one then..
With more spare (& free) time for Mommy since Jerral will be at child care twice a week.. Daddy can expect more yummy food to be whipped by Mommy! HeeHee

The pies look yummy indeed.
Did you use those ready made pie skin found in supermarket? I miss that.. i use a lot of that when I was in France as it was real cheap as compared to SGP.
U can even use the skin to do curry puff (sardines or curry chicken) n baked it.
Looking at this post, made me miss my cooking and baking. Ever since i back to work force, no time to do all this. Moreover my evening sickness making me sick all time. Now my sickness evolved to morning too. I even puked along my way to work.
