oh dear.. Jerral's down with a Bad Flu and ...

Sob Sob... the little boy is down with a pretty bad flu (slight fever with some cough) and what's worst.. Conjunctivitis!

Its started off with just some minor flu on Sunday, 'seeing' that the Lil' One is 'still' ok.. Daddy and Mommy decided to go ahead with the planned Beach trip with Uncle Alex and Aunty Sharon...

Unfortunately.. its seems like the 'beach trip' must have worsen his flu, which resulted in a slight fever and cough. Sigh. (definitely not a wise decision from his parents)

As for the conjunctivitis, it started off yesterday morning.. Lil' Jerral woke up with a swollen eye lid (left eyes).... everything seems normal.. no 'eye dirt', only a slightly swollen eye lid. Who Knows!

By noon.. both eyes lids are swollen and 'bounchy' and 'eyes dirt' starts appearing on his eyes.

The boy kept crying 'pain pain' on his eyes.

It's heart breaking seeing the boy like this, Daddy and Mommy immediately brought Lil' Jerral for a check up at a nearby clinic and Doc confirmed that the boy got infected with conjunctivitis.. guess he must have got it from his child care since none in the family have got it .

Great-Grandmama told Mommy to tie some pairs of chopsticks with red string or red ribbons to prevent the conjunctivitis from spreading to others in the family.. since it's contagious.

(It's an old belief from the old folks but Mommy believed in it as she has seem the miracle happened couple of years ago. Cross fingers.. hope its works this time round)

Grounchy Lil' Jerral.. practically not in the mood for anything..

His eyes are much better now (although it's watering and slightly swollen on both eyes), after some 'force' eyes medication (yes FORCE!! Daddy or Yeye would grabbed both his hands, legs and body, while Nainai would hold his head still and Mommy would instilled the eyes droplets into his eyes).
