Our Little Sydney Trip - Day 02

No trip to Sydney will be complete without the requisite visit to two of Sydney's most famous icons - The Sydney Harbor Bridge and Opera House. Day 2 was spent mostly along the district known as the Rocks where spectacular views of both the bridge and the opera house can be found.

Daddy up close with Jarien

Mommy up close with Jarien

Geez, everyone wants their turn up close with Jarien ....

Now its NaiNai's turn .....

...and both YeYe and NaiNai ....

Posing under a row of beautiful Jacanada Trees at the Rocks. Mommy's favourite tree.

Daddy busy and happily entertaining himself while everyone else queues up for their turn with Jarien. (DISCLAIMER: eventually most of the ice cream was polished off by Mommy and Jerral)

A little seagull resting his wings.....

The magnificent Sydney Harbor Bridge as a backdrop from the Rocks.
The photo really didnt do it justice.

Mommy feeling vertically challenged .... Finally, we get to see little Jerral on camera

View of the bridge from the Opera House side of the harbor
Little Jarien resting on Daddy's tummy

Jerral, Jarien and Daddy relaxing ...

...by the bay in one of the cafes lining the sides of the Opera House

YeYe and his beer

Mommy caught Daddy off-guard with this shot

Daddy posing in front of the Opera House

This shot was initially taken for YeYe and NaiNai but little Jerral decided to plonk himself down on the stairs right in front of the camera while Mommy was taking the shot. Jerral posing on the stairs leading to the Opera House

Mommy with Jerral in front of the Opera House

YeYe and NaiNai with grouchy little Jerral in front of the Opera House

Little Jarien taking a peek out of the baby sling in which he was being carried

Street Market @ The Rocks

The turkish prata - delightful blend of pancake, fetta cheese, spinach and chicken

One of the streets in the Rocks lined with historical buildings lovingly restored by the Council

Taking a break with Jerral clapping to the tune of the live band (out of the picture unfortunately)
