Our Little Sydney Trip - Day 04

Day 4, the highlight of this day is most definitely the Sydney Fish Market visit, something that Mommy has been looking forwarded to since the day Daddy planned this trip. The reason of course is the glut of fresh seafood that Mommy plans on stuffing herself silly with.

The afternoon was a bit of a damper as there was a pretty heavy downpour. Undaunted, Daddy & Mommy still decided to make their way down to Bondi Beach to visit the Bondi Market (the little ones were left in the apartment with YeYe and NaiNai due to the weather). Unfortunately, because of the downpour, most of the stalls were closed. Still Daddy and Mommy were treated to breathtaking views of the beaches and cliffs surronding Bondi, so not a totally wasted trip.

At the fish market, Daddy smacking his lips at the drool-inducing sight of the lobsters

Rows after rows after rows of oysters just waiting to slip down Mommy's throat

Mommy's lunch (part 01 - half a dozen freshly opened oysters))

Mommy's lunch (part 02 - sweet juicy abalone slices)

Mommy's lunch (part 3 - freshly sliced tuna and salmon sashimi)

Bondi Market - stalls mostly closed due to the downpour

Mommy found this cake shop selling some really creative cakes near our apartments.

Goodness knows what kind of cake this was meant to be

More cupcake creations ....

Unfortunately (fortunately for Daddy's wallet), the shop which was selling all these yummylicious creations has closed for the day.

So Mommy had to 'console' herself with these cakes from another nearby italian pastry shop instead. Incidentally, the cakes turned out to be really goood.
