Jarien at 7 months old...

Mommy is a little late in this posting of Baby Jarien at 7 months old.

The baby weighs a healthy 8.4kg and measures an estimated height of 65cm.

Mommy has been pretty busy lately and has not been exploring much with food for the little baby.. he is still mainly having apples, pears or banana (mix) into rice cereal or si shen powder for his lunch.

While dinner is mainly some bits and pieces of rice which Mommy is having.. hee.

Mommy has also start giving the baby some noon snack.. baby biscuit that melts in his mouth (which Kor Kor Jerral loves it too!) and also teething biscuit too. Baby Jarien definitely has a stronger preference over the 'melty' biscuits than the tasteless teething one!

Baby Jarien simply loves food and loves to eat!

He would stare intensely at the food which Daddy, Mommy or Kor Kor Jerral are having.. and looking at you with his sweetest smile on, while smacking his lips, hoping for a share.

However, if the baby fail to get fed with the food, he would start yelling and screaming in his own baby tongue.

O.. Baby Jarien is perfectly capable of sitting on his own without any support now.

When Mommy is busy, she would just sit the little baby on the playmat surrounding him with lots of toys to occupy his time. ^.^

Daddy has also noticed 2 little small teeth sprouting out from Jarien's lower gum.

Its sure hurts when the baby bites now!

Mommy has set a sleeping routine for the little one.

He would usually be up by 6am for milk, follow by a morning nap at 9am and another round of nap at about 1pm right after his lunch and finally doze off to bed by 7.30pm. (But) Jarien still wakes up at night crying for at least one feed. Hopefully, he will be able to learn to sleep through the night soon.

The baby is able to sleep on his own without any need for cuddles or 'latch'.

He does whine a little when put to bed but luckily, this (usually) does not carry on for more than 15 minutes before he finally doze off to lalaland.
