one of the main reasons for our sudden return to Singapore is due to our kids... especially Jerral Kor Kor.. who has been sick and down with a very bad flu, running nose and cough for a couple of weeks in Aus... mainly due to the bad weather there.... super hot during the day (up to 38 degree) while the temperature can dropped drastically to about 24 degree at night.its really aches and breaks our heart (each time) to see him crying with rejection of the medicines or otherwise having to watch and see him taking endless amount of medicines or antibiotics for his 'never heal' flu.
it's seems like no amount of self-medicated medicines or antibiotics from the local Aus Doctor can heal the little boy... so no choice.. the best is to bring him back to Singapore for a visit to the local pediatrics. Oh.. don't think there are any pediatrics in Aus.. think the local Aus Mommies mainly self feed their kids with any medicines that they know or otherwise bring a really sick kid to any family Doctors for antibiotics.
so.. back to the part when we returned to Singapore.. Daddy and Mommy brought Jerral to a local and supposedly 'pretty good PD' who has prescribed another round and doses of medicines with (again) antibiotics for the little one.
gosh.. 2 rounds of antibiotics in less than a month for the little boy!! makes us really wonder if it would cause any long term harmful effect to the body (touch wood!!).
A snapshot of the medicines from the PD in above posted pic which also defines the amount of $$$ his parents have to pay.. a 'whopping' $120.00! But well.. the money is well-spent as long as the boy recovers totally!
arghhh.. kids get sick so easily now. and while its seems that Kor Kor Jerral is finally on the path to recovering, here comes Baby Jarien.. down with a fever, and very bad running nose!
Luckily after some medicines from our SG family Doctor, Dr Bok, he seems to be slightly better now.. or so it seems (cross fingers)... poor cranky baby.
well... go away... you irritating contagious flu bug and leave my boys alone!!!

FYI, although a kid seemed to be perpetually having flu symptom, but it may be due to him catching one flu virus after another... just a process of building up his antibodies... don't be too worry about it.
