Jarien at 11 months old..

Jarien turned 11 months on July 14th, and in less than a week, Lil' Jarien will be ONE!

Daddy and Mommy will be celebrating this special day with relatives and friends. ^-^

Lil' Jarien does not seems to have put on much weight at 11 months.

He still weighs about 9kg which is the same as his weight when he was 10 months old.

While for height, the little baby measure at about 71cm.

The little one is very responsive and everytime when Daddy, Mommy or Korkor Jerral calls his name.. he would crawl or cruise towards them.

He has made much progress in his hand-eye co-ordination, the little one is able to clap both his hands, put his hands together and do 'gong-xi, gong-xi', self feed himself with finger foods, and wave 'Hello/ Bye Bye'.

Lil' Jarien is able to shake his head to say 'No No No' and also dance by swaying his whole body and head from side to side everytime some music has been played or even when Korkor sings...

The little baby loves to play with his Korkor although their play time usually ends up with them quarrelling over toys. He enjoys making growling sounds with his throat at his Korkor which simply drives Korkor Jerral nuts!

However, the little one is a much lazier baby than his Korkor.. he is still not able to stand on his own without any support. While his Korkor is able to stand on his own just before he is One.

Mommy started Yogurt on Lil' Jarien couple of weeks ago. The little baby is definitely enjoying it.. but after 3 days of Yogurt, Mommy has to put a stop to it as it has been giving the little one loose stool couple of times a day.

Doctor advised to Mommy was to let the baby try again in one or 2 months time, as he might be lactose intolerance just like his Daddy..

For the month of July, Mommy has added vegetables such as celery, zuchini, and fish (i.e cod fish, red emperor fish, sea perch and salmon) together with fruits such as Red PawPaw into his daily diet.
