The second day of the trip is a little treat for Jerral and Jarien. Mommy has pre-booked a 'Day out with Thomas' ticket at the Emerald Station of the famous Puffing Billy Steam Train of Mount Dandenong. The train ride is at 1pm this time so the boys got a good rest to recover from the flight and subsequent rushing around the previous day. Daddy has booked a rental car to drive to the Thomas show and got a pleasant surprise when he went to pick up the car and was given a free upgrade from a Toyota Yaris to a Camry instead. The bulk of the morning was spent at the Thomas Train event before heading back to Melbourne CBD for an evening of leisurely stroll / food hunt amongst the lanes and alleways of central Melbourne.
Stopping to pick up some breakfast from the Pie Face. A shop selling pies (with funny faces drawn on them) as well as some pastries. The Pie was pretty good but the baby baguettes even better.
The Pie Face smashed up as Mommy has stuffed the Pie into the bag. It was supposed to be a smiley face ........
