The previous day of the trip has been planned with the boys in mind but the third day was Daddy's day who booked a day trip out to the Great Ocean Road, an outing he has been long looking forward to. It was an exhausting trip, with some 600 km covered in a single day but absolutely worth it to take in all the stunning sights along the SW coast of Victoria, the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge, Bells Beach etc.

.....but Jerral is grouchy as he prefers to be watching TV.
The start of the Great Ocean Road
At a lookout point overlooking Bells Beach. A pity the waves were pretty calm that day, as usually the surfs can be up to 4-5m high.

These photos are really a case of the photos not doing justice to the magnificence of the actual views of the 12 Apostles and surrounding coastlines
Mommy and Jarien in front of the 'London Bridge' The little island was actually once joined to the main land but a section of the 'bridge' broke off creating that little isolated piece of land.
One of Jerral's favourite sights as he kept humming to the tune of London Bridge is Falling Down, which is quite apt, seeing as the bridge did fell down, so to speak.

....which was the site of a shipwreck of the 'Loch Ard', a ship carrying early immigrants from Ireland where there were only 2 survivors
Jerral spotted this little porcupine whilst on the way back to the coach from the Loch Ard lookout point. Definitely not a part of the itinerary for the day.
Jarien is all smiles as the group heads for a dinner stop before turning round for the loooooong drive back to the hotel.
Finally, after some 14 hours on the road, (the trip having begun at 715am and returning to the hotel at 930pm) Mommy and Daddy tucked into a well deserved supper of Lemongrass Chicken and Fried Rice from a nearby cafe. O-ishi-ne!
