Our Little Melbourne Trip - Day 6 for the Family

Day 6, another day trip out for the family, this time down to the Mornington Peninsula to check out the fabulous views of Point Napean National Park, the bathing boxes of Brighton a relaxing lunch at the Peninsula Hotsprings resort, wine tasting at the Mantons Creek Winery, a afternoon of fun at the Ashcombe Maze and Lavendar Gardens and picking fresh strawberries from Sunnyridge Strawberry farm. A long day's trip but really worth it and it was late evening by the time Mommy and Daddy got home, with not much time left except for a quick dinner before Mommy and Daddy had to start packing for the flight home the next day.

Jerral has other entertainment planned for the long day trip.

Lavender in full bloom

There are more than lavender growing in the beautifully landscaped gardens.

A pond/fountain which also serves as the exit point for the Garden's hedge maze.

Jerral leading the way through the hedge maze which was really quite challenging

though the little one seems unfazed and actually managed to guide Daddy out of the maze by giving directions at every turning.

Mommy looking over row after row of strawberry bushes at Sunnyridge Strawberry Farm

The juicy strawberries just waiting to be plucked and popped into the mouth ....

.... and Mommy and the boys are most happy to oblige
